Product Marketing Content Strategist

Fawna is hiring a Product Marketing Content Strategist to shape how the company explains customer feedback intelligence to product, support, success, sales, and leadership teams.

This role combines product marketing, editorial strategy, customer research, and hands-on writing. The person in this role will turn product capabilities and customer evidence into clear messaging, useful educational content, strong launch narratives, and credible customer stories.

About Fawna

Fawna helps SaaS teams bring together support tickets, chats, reviews, calls, CRM notes, and other customer conversations. It identifies recurring themes, preserves source evidence, and gives teams a shared system for making product decisions.

What this role will own

  • Positioning and messaging across the website, launches, campaigns, and product pages.

  • Editorial strategy for guides, blog posts, reports, case studies, and educational resources.

  • Customer interviews and the transformation of those conversations into credible proof.

  • Launch narratives that connect new features to real customer problems.

  • In-product education, onboarding copy, lifecycle messaging, and feature explanations.

  • Sales enablement materials, objection handling, and audience-specific messaging.

  • A repeatable content system that balances evergreen education with timely launches.

Core audiences

The strategist will create content for several connected audiences:

  • Product leaders who need better evidence for roadmap decisions.

  • Product managers who are overwhelmed by scattered feedback.

  • Support and success teams who want customer signal to reach product.

  • Sales and GTM teams who need a shared understanding of objections and demand.

  • Executives who want visibility into customer needs without another manual report.

Typical projects

  • Developing the narrative and messaging for a major product launch.

  • Interviewing a customer and producing a detailed case study.

  • Creating a guide on building a customer feedback intelligence workflow.

  • Rewriting a feature page to connect capabilities with concrete outcomes.

  • Building a campaign around a recurring customer pain point or market shift.

  • Turning product data and feedback themes into a research-led report.

How the role works with the team

This role partners closely with product, design, sales, customer success, and leadership. Strong work begins with understanding the product and customer context rather than writing from a brief alone.

Fawna’s content should make complex workflows feel concrete, useful, and credible - without vague AI language or inflated claims.

What Fawna is looking for

  • At least four years of experience in product marketing, content strategy, editorial, or B2B SaaS writing.

  • Excellent long-form and short-form writing skills.

  • Ability to turn complex product workflows into clear, specific explanations.

  • Experience conducting customer interviews and extracting meaningful stories.

  • Strong understanding of positioning, audience segmentation, and launch messaging.

  • Comfort working with analytics, product context, research, and customer evidence.

  • A precise writing style that avoids cliches, filler, and generic AI claims.

Helpful experience

  • Writing for product, support, customer success, or revenue teams.

  • Experience with product-led growth, lifecycle content, or sales enablement.

  • Building editorial calendars and content operations from an early stage.

  • Working in a startup where priorities change and ownership is broad.

  • Basic familiarity with Webflow, CMS publishing, SEO, or content analytics.

What success looks like

In the first three months, the strategist will learn the product, customer language, and existing content system, then publish several high-quality pieces that establish a clearer Fawna voice.

Within six months, success means launches have stronger narratives, customer stories are more credible, website messaging is more consistent, and the team has a repeatable process for turning product and customer insight into content.

What Fawna offers

  • Competitive salary and equity.

  • Remote-first work within EU-friendly time zones.

  • High ownership over the company narrative and content system.

  • Direct access to customers, product strategy, and launch planning.

  • A dedicated learning budget for research, books, courses, and events.

  • Flexible working hours and low meeting overhead.

  • The opportunity to define language for a new product category.

Interview process

  • Introductory conversation about experience and writing approach.

  • Portfolio and content review focused on strategic thinking and craft.

  • Practical working session or short paid exercise based on a Fawna use case.

  • Final conversation with cross-functional team members.

Applicants should include relevant writing samples, especially product marketing, customer stories, launch work, or educational B2B content.
